Central Communications Senior Manager

As the Senior Manager of Central Communications, you will craft and help tell DiDi’s story across our 14 international markets. Working as part of the IBG Central External Affairs team, you will support our regional Communications colleagues with expert communications counsel, leadership of multi-market and regional projects, crisis and issues management, and the development of core narratives and collateral. The Central External Affairs team works across DiDi’s international markets (outside China), supporting in-country government affairs, communications and internal communications teams with data, arguments, narratives, measurement and strategy. You will report to the Head of Central External Affairs. Responsibilities: Build core messaging for DiDi’s international position across our international operations (outside China), maintaining a library of narratives and core collateral, including factsheets, boilerplates, and corporate narratives. Build a capability for central corporate and product communications. -Lead multi-market projects and campaigns, including developing pitches, and international visits and delegations. -International media relations - manage relations and pitching with key international media. -Manage major international crises and campaigns, and support in-country teams on crisis management and processes, and on major national campaigns and corporate moments. -Support plans and communications for top international executives. Serve as the liaison between in-country international communications colleagues and China-based PR teams, including managing reviews and approvals for content.

10+ years of experience working in communications, including for a multinational company. Tech sector experience preferred Experience building global positioning, and coordinating across multiple markets Experience working on global campaigns, and/or in a central communications function preferred, including working with regional/country teams Native English, with exceptional written and verbal communications skills. Some Spanish, Portuguese or Chinese would be a plus.
