Regional Safety BP

• Act as a regional safety business partner, responsible for identifying regional safety risks, business pain points, and governance opportunities, and designing and driving the implementation of safety operation solutions. • Establish and continuously optimize regional safety governance mechanisms, including safety metrics monitoring, risk reviews, issue escalation, cross-functional collaboration, and project management cadence. • Drive initiatives to improve safety perception and reduce safety incidents, including risk identification, prevention strategies, user education, and product capability enhancements. • Coordinate with regional regulators, compliance teams, law enforcement agencies, and relevant stakeholders on regulatory requirements, compliance matters, and high-priority safety incident response, ensuring clear processes, timely response, and well-defined ownership. • Partner with Product, Data, Engineering, and other teams to translate regional safety challenges into product requirements, risk mitigation strategies, or automation solutions. • Support key safety initiatives including onboarding compliance, identity verification, document governance, and risk driver/user governance. • Leverage data analysis to assess risk trends, governance effectiveness, and business impact, providing actionable insights and recommendations for management decision-making. • Build and institutionalize regional safety governance frameworks and methodologies, enabling knowledge sharing and replication across markets.

• 5+ years of experience in safety operations, risk operations, platform governance, product operations, business strategy, or risk management/compliance governance in consulting firms. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to independently identify risks, define problems, and drive solutions in complex business scenarios. • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with Product, Legal, Data, Engineering, Customer Service, and regional business teams. • Strong data analysis and metrics management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize risks and evaluate project effectiveness through data-driven insights. • Strong English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across regions and time zones. • Strong project management and structured communication skills, with the ability to provide clear insights and recommendations to senior management. • Comfortable working in highly complex and ambiguous environments, with strong ownership and a results-oriented mindset. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting international or multi-regional businesses. • Experience in product requirement management, strategy design, automated governance solutions. • Experience exploring AI applications, such as leveraging AI to improve risk identification, case triage, quality inspection, knowledge management, data analysis, or operational efficiency. • Experience in process automation, such as using tools, systems, RPA, low-code/no-code platforms, or workflow design to reduce repetitive manual operations.
